I am a planner and a problem solver. I feel very strongly that an attorney should be a trusted adviser along with providing quality legal services. My law practice was founded on the belief that if an individual or business is willing to trust an attorney for legal advice, that individual or business should expect and should receive the highest standard of customer service and communication. My goal is not to sell you legal services, but to advise and assist you in utilizing the law as an effective tool to achieve the goals in your specific situation.
Personal Background
I was born in Southern California, raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and received my undergraduate degree from Ohio State majoring in history and political science. After earning my bachelors degree, I provided support to the highest levels of national security and counter terrorism policy-makers as a staff member at the White House in Washington, D.C. The experience was incredibly demanding and fast-paced, but it was very rewarding to have the opportunity to serve at such a high level of our federal government.
Eventually, my wife and I could no longer resist the call of the friendly people, natural beauty, and endless adventures of the Pacific Northwest. I pursued a law degree at the University of Oregon with a focus on business law coursework. During my final year of law school, I served as a member of the Small Business Clinic. I loved meeting with clients, learning about their businesses, and helping to develop solutions to improve their viability and increase their chances for success. I had found my legal calling.
My wife, children, our dogs, and I are very proud to call Lane County home. We love cheering on the Ducks and searching for the next breathtaking hike or perfect campsite.
