Born in Springfield, my family spent time in Kansas, Colorado, and Southern California before settling in the Portland area while I was in high school. I received my undergraduate degree from Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) and then headed to Spokane, Washington to pursue a law degree at Gonzaga University. While in law school, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy; help organize and volunteer with spring break service trips in the Dominican Republic and New Orleans; and extern for the Hon. Fred Van Sickle at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Graduation from law school brought me back to Oregon and I eventually settled in the Eugene/Springfield area.
My legal experience prior to joining Strohman Ford was varied, including: clerking for the Hon. Karsten H. Rasmussen and Hon. Cynthia D. Carlson at Lane County Circuit Court; representing creditors while in private practice; and serving as the probate commissioner at Lane County Circuit Court for more than eight years. My time as the probate commissioner provided me with a breadth of knowledge about the probate process, which I’m able to share with clients as they administer an estate.
I look forward to the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience for the benefit of my clients as they navigate through legal matters.
Away from the office, you’re most likely to find me hiking, watching sporting events, crocheting, training for my next half marathon, or spending time with family and friends.
